What is clinical qigong treatment?
Clinical qigong treatment is a one-on-one therapeutic modality rooted in classical Chinese medicine. Treatment is conducted through the hands by direct communication through the qi field off the body or through touch. Clinical qigong treatment is often compared to acupuncture without the use of needles as it works directly with the acupoints, meridian channels, 5 elements, as well as the many fields of energy extending out from the body. Clinical qigong that's classically based doesn't treat the symptoms of disease directly, but works on a soul level within the energy system to restore balance. When balance is restored, disease naturally disappears. Energetic patterns, underlying physical symptoms, emotional dysregulation, chronic stress, and so much more will dissolve naturally.
What conditions do people seek clinical qigong for?
People often seek clinical qigong when they are experiencing:
• Chronic pain, tension, or holding patterns that don’t resolve with physical treatment alone
• Anxiety, hypervigilance, shutdown, or general nervous system dysregulation
• Long-term stress or CPTSD patterns held in the body
• Persistent fatigue, burnout, or depletion that rest does not fix
• Psychosomatic symptoms or recurring issues without a clear medical cause
• Difficulty grounding, settling, or feeling fully present
• Symptoms that flare during stress, emotional activation, or transitions
• Long-standing issues that haven’t shifted through conventional or symptom-focused care
• Clinical qigong overlaps with what people often seek from acupuncture or somatic therapies, but works through direct energetic regulation rather than mechanical or needle-based methods.
