Qi (also spelled "Chi") is the Chinese term for our life energy. Qi is one of 3 frequencies of energy that make up The 3 Treasures of Taoist science. These 3 frequencies of energy are referred to as “Jing”--Original Essence, “Qi”--Vital Energy, and “Shen”--Spirit and they are the blueprint for everything that occurs within our body and life as a whole. These 3 primary frequencies of energy that make up the constitution of the human being are comparable to a candle. The candle itself represents Jing, the flame representing Qi, and the light radiating from the flame represents Shen.
These 3 frequencies of energy are designed to function together as one as they follow the soul's descent into density. Addressing this flow holistically on all 3 levels provides the highest results in your healing journey.
Qigong (also spelled Chi Kung/Chi Gong) translates to mean "life energy cultivation". Qigong is a system that branches off into both hard-external and soft-internal styles; focusing on martial, medical, and spiritual applications with each school of development offering a unique approach in activating the innate intelligence within the human being in reaching its full potential. Many of these practices encompass herbology, external exercises, Taoist neigong, and moving meditative forms alongside clinical qigong treatment.
Qigong practices connect us more deeply with nature and are designed to empower and heal the energetics of the body & soul; assisting it into a harmonic with who we are as spirit. These practices were developed in ancient times as a means to significantly increase the strength, health, emotional balance, mental fortitude, immunity, longevity, and vital force within our body through the cultivation and purification of our qi within the 5 elements. The quality and accumulation of our qi provides the energy needed in developing and expanding our awareness as spirit.
The crown jewel and foundation of qigong in healing and self practice is the deep dive into our own human heart through the practice of gratitude. This opens a pathway that brings our shen (spirit) and qi (soul) fields together at the middle tan tien within the toroidal fields of our heart; known simply as "heart center".
Heart centered practice creates a powerful field of awareness that radiates our unique human warmth and connection without violating space. This pure and impersonal consciousness of the "One" that comes to reside in center through our shen/qi field can show up in many ways through center. All of which heal and transform us in powerful ways.
